How long have you been a mortgage broker and where is your business located?

I have been mortgage broking since 2013 and located in South Brisbane.

What is the name of your business?

Aussie Dream Home Loans. 

What do you love about being a finance broker?

Going on the journey with my clients to help them achieve their dreams.

Is there a particular type of finance you specialise in?

Residential Mortgages, owner occupied and investment home loans.

What is the property market like in your region?

Very active at the moment. Brisbane is on the radar as one of the best cities to buy in at present for both owner occupied and investors.

 

 

Are there any particular suburbs or property types you feel represent growth opportunities in your region?

Within a 10-15km radios of Brisbane CBD are generally the hot spots as houses are either increasing of holding their value. There is an influx of new units in Brisbane so units are a little bit slower in growth.

The Sunshine Coast and northern suburbs of Brisbane have had a lot of attention of late, which is mainly due to the current and proposed infrastructure scheduled for the next 10 years.

What’s the one aspect of a loan all borrowers should be aware of?

That circumstances can change and you must be prepared and sufficiently covered for the unexpected. For example, income/trauma insurance options.

What are your favourite hobbies?

Camping, Photography and chillaxing with our 5 Kids and 2 grandkids.

How are you involved in the local community?

I volunteer every Wednesday for 4 hours at the Mater Hospital. This was on my bucket list and now that I work for myself I have been able to commit to this which is fantastic.
