simplyaskit meets Finance broker Daniel Berti from Berti Financial in Ultimo Sydney
How long have you been a mortgage broker and where is your business located?
I have been a finance broker for 2 years, previously working for a major bank as a mortgage lender/home loan consultant. My business is located at Level 5, 55 Mountain Street, Ultimo.
What is the name of your business?
Berti Financial
What do you love about being a finance broker?
I love discussing my client’s goals and aspirations, such as refinancing to save them money, buying/building their dream home or owning a new car. I’m in one of the industries that makes dreams come true, it’s a great feeling. Discussing their goals also assists with packing their loans correctly to benefit what they would like to achieve for now and in the future – five, ten, fifteen years from now.
Is there a particular type of finance you specialise in?
I specialise in Residential Owner Occupied, and Investment Finance, Commercial Finance, Personal Loans and Asset Finance (motor vehicle).
What is the property market like in your region?
The market is steady and stabilising overall, however, there is still a great deal of buyers and sellers and a great deal of growth in the eastern suburbs.
What’s the one aspect of a loan all borrowers should be aware of?
Flexibility. For example, perhaps you would like to make additional repayments and draw on those extra payments at any time, Be aware of any fees and charges. You also want to ensure you’re aware of any restrictions and/or penalties before signing the dotted lines.
What are your favourite hobbies?
Gym, eating ridiculous amounts of my Nonna’s (grandmothers) food, playing footy and of course, spending time with family and friends.
What is your goal for 2016?
Grow my portfolio business and clientele, Build a loyal referral network, have as many raving customers as possible and reply to as many enquiries I can on simplyaskit
