Hi, I recently incorporated my business about a year ago to Pty Ltd. ASIC have sent me a renewal for my business trading name. Do i need to renew this, even though i now have my PTY LTD?

Hi Lauren,
If you intend to continue to trade under the name, you must renew it or ASIC can cancel the name and someone else could register it.
You should check with your accountant first but I would expect that you would be "Lauren A Pty Ltd trading as Lauren's Services"

In a word yes!!there is a yearly subscription to the government otherwise they will de-register it.
