Our company has all its people operating from home and one of my colleagues asked a question and we haven’t been able to get an answer. If someone trips over at home whilst working from home would it be classified as a workplace injury?

Here is some information
From Safe Work Australia
https://www.safeworkaustralia.gov.au/covid-19-information-workplaces/industry-information/general-industry-information/working-home
From QLD WorkCover
https://www.worksafe.qld.gov.au/laws-and-compliance/workplace-health-and-safety-laws/specific-obligations/health-and-safety-for-working-from-home
That should give you a start

This article was also in the news today. It's a tragic story but working from home was considered a workplace and the injury at home- being murdered, was a workplace injury.
