Having recently sold my house with a pool I’ve now had the new owners come to
Me and say the pool has been leaking I agreed to go halves in having someone come and assess it. The results bring it has a crack somewhere on the outside but inside the pool area like from a tree or something. So now there trying to make me pay for pulling all the tiles up etc.
How does the law work for all this.
I thought that’s what they had inspectors for etc ?

Hello

I am managing director of a company in SA.
Basically there are unauthorised creditor invoices that have been entered in to our internal accounting system.
We are not being actively pursued for the money, there is no written legal warnings and the claimed debt may be over a year old in some cases. Is it legal to process a credit in our internal accounting system so risk of inadvertent payment is averted and aged creditor is not exaggerated; without written approval from the Creditor ?

: I am in a Strata of 6 villas. We have a council of owner of 5 members. The law requests a minimum of 3 members. To fill the 3 positions? Do we have to elect a chairman, a secretary and a treasurer? The existing chairman believes she is the only one elected and can delicate tasks of secretary and treasurer to different members at any time as she field fit. Is that according to law?

i got pulled over and was told my vehicle was unregistered, they took my plates and gave me a $250 unregistered vehicle fine and $100 return plate failure fine. The vehicle was being transferred to my name from my father in laws and he was paying the transfer fee. Meanwhile i pay the new registration, it gets bounced back a week later with no explanation. I never recieved a '14 day overdue notice' or a letter to advise the car was unlicensed. Do i have a chance to take this to court?

Dear John,
I wish to put in a second towel rail because I'm disabled with neck arthritis. My landlord is unresponsive. I am straining my neck to reach down to the low rail and wish to put one above it more suitable for my height. Would i be in breach of my contract if i have one put in? Can they evict me even if its identical to the one below and adds value to the property? Thank you for your reply :-)

I have just received a land tax bill for my primary place of residence, I purchased the property a little over 12 months ago. I know I'm not liable for this as it is my primary residence which I can easily prove, but why would the OSR have assumed it is an investment property? Would it be something incorrect with the settlement documentation? From the time of purchase our intention has always been to reside at this property.

I refuse & check the Contract & find out Sale house plan drawing in my signed Contract is not consisting with actual sale house plan. Can I get my deposit back?
