I've been out of work for the past 9 months got very behind in my mortgage and so now that I am at preservation age I took 25K from my superannuation and paid off the mortgage debt. Today I got the bad news that I am unlikely to be able to work for at least another 6 months. I have only 13K of superannuation left. I took the 25K in late March. Can I access the remainder of my super? When? Thanks Deb

Hi Guys, I currently earn about $80K PA, my wife earns about $25K PA. Im 50 and my wife is 48. We have a standard fixed home loan of $470K. I have $600K invested. Car loan of $70K and a credit card with $25K max, $7K owing. Ive just done my 2016 tax return and have to pay the ATO back $6K :( They now also want me to advance quarterly payments of $2K starting in July. WTF!!! What can I do to reduce my income tax??? I am definitely not a rich man, but Im sure the ATO think I am!!! HELP??

My husband and I are directors of our own construction company. We have reached a point where we are out of out depth with how to measure our progress and be able to see if our business is viable and our debts measureable and managable. We are lost as to what we should do next to get our debts under control. Should we seek advice from a financial planner?..and can't our bank manager help us with this planning?

I'm having trouble paying my mortgage since acquiring a disability and having to resign my job. I'm getting married In December and so I just need to hang on to the house until then. Unsure as to best course of action right now. Should I :
1. Apply for financial hardship consideration from the bank again? Trouble is that the debt keeps getting bigger that way.
2. Apply for early access to my superannuation?
3. Ask a friend for an interest free loan?

Hi. We have just sold our home and have a sum of money to put into term deposit. The bank we are currently with is backed by government for $250k deposits. Are we best to do 2 separate deposits and are we also best to have fall due in different financial year? We plan on buying again within 12 months. My partner is working however I am not at moment but plan to shortly.
Thank you

I've just relocated and my income has dropped significantly and I've almoat run out of cash totally and need to buy food. I'm a bit freaked out as i need to use my card for that too now
I don't want to ask family to lend me money. Any suggestions welcome?

I have purchased an investment property and am renting it to my son and his family however I would eventually like to sell the property to him and his wife but as he is self employed and has four young children he would find it difficult to obtain finance. I am thinking of taking money out of my superannuation giving it to him to assist with a substantial deposit to assist in gaining finance. Do you think this would be worth considering?
